DO YOU WANT A REMEMBRANCE SERVICE AT THORNTON CENOTAPH THIS YEAR? IF SO KEEP READING

The RBL Thornton Branch held it monthly meeting last night 29/01/2024.

It has been suggested that due to the low numbers of active members at the branch, that we are no longer in the position to organise and man a Ceremony of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Thornton this year.

This will be discussed further at our February meeting and a final decision will be made at the March meeting.

I encourage all who do not wish to lose this Act of Remembrance in Thornton Village and who could help us Organise/Run the event to attend the February meeting.

It will be held at the Con Club, downstairs bar at 19:30 Monday 26th February. No membership required
